UNDER CONSTRUCTION and…new project?

As you may have noticed, nothing really works on the website right now. Everything is being overhauled.

I thought this would be a good time to announce my next project : Project 52.

Where Project 365 forced me to go out and get photos every day, I found out often sacrified quality for quantity.
This time around I want to upload one photo a week of which I am very proud.

I’ll start this new project up as soon as I’m done updating the website. So, tune in!

I was hacked.

Apparently my site was hacked to redirect people to another website, hence why it was taking so long to load up.

As you may have noticed, this means I’m back to the old template and I’ll be restarting the work on my header.

Lovely.

A New Direction

I’ve noticed that I have just simply not been able to keep up to date with the same vast quantities of photos I was producing before. My computer has essentially died leaving me without a fast post-processing method. The site has since fallen into a bit of a slump. I’ve decided that instead of the large quantities of photos I was uploading, I’ll simply focus on more specific themes and upload less photos but of a higher quality

That being said, the site will be in a bit of disarray while I reorganize everything. I think it’ll turn out for the best.

Phd’s are hard…

Rain soaked leaf (day 255) I have been neglecting my updates, but I have been keeping up with the photo taking. I’m up to day 273!  Unreal. I can’t believe I’ve stuck with it this long. It does certainly make for an interesting journal. I can go back and remember what I was doing most days this year. This month’s theme : fall. Lots of photos of leaves and leaves on the ground. Kind of a dreary month for photos, surprisingly. Not many colours. The skies have been quite gray for quite a while now. Come on sunshine, I know you’re out there!

More CBC Radio3 Love

One of my photos was used for the inaugural Picture Show Podcast on CBC Radio3!

(the second one, the photo of the sugar/coffee news at Aggies’ in Val Caron)
